Refund Policy
Riverview is a pure subscription for on-demand digital content. This explains when refunds do and don't apply.
Effective 31 May 2026
1. Subscriptions
Paid plans (Pause and Sanctuary) are billed in advance for each period in US dollars. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current period and then drops to the free tier.
Riverview sells digital content that is generated and delivered instantly to your account on demand. There are no physical goods and nothing is shipped.
2. Unused allowance
Because plans are generated on demand the moment you request them, unused monthly allowance is not refunded and does not roll over to the next period.
3. When we will help
If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or a technical fault stopped you receiving content you paid for, contact us and we'll investigate and make it right, including a refund where appropriate.
4. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 2020 or other consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
5. How to ask
Email support@riverviewretreatnz.com from the address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. We aim to reply within a few business days.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of New Zealand.
